I planted this spirea in the spring from a small cutting with roots, and now it is making sure it doesn’t go unnoticed!
I was looking forward to seeing what the fothergillas were going to look like this fall and it happened pretty much overnight. One day they were green, the next yellow with a few red and orange tints, which I think will intensify in a few days.
I have lots of epimedium planted in a back shade garden but I purposely put one in a shade area outside my front steps so that I could see one more often. I love the flowers, the leaves and the fall color – which really pops surrounded by brown oak leaves….
